Coast LC Spotlight

We hope everyone had a FANTASTIC Thanksgiving. Just before the holiday… our teams were crushing it down in Dallas, TX!

The 2026's had a hard fought weekend in Dallas at The Debut.

They went 2-2 with wins over teams from Washington and Minnesota. Both of their losses accumulated in only a few goals, with one being a 1-goal loss to a team from Maryland.

It's exciting to see this group continue to level up their game each time they step on the field. Their work ethic shows and is helping them grow as individuals and as a team.

The 2025's continued to show a lot of grit and growth over President's Cup weekend while finishing 3-1. They faced tough teams from across the country and came out a stronger unit.

It's exciting to see this group continuously stay hungry for the next challenge and genuinely enjoy being around one another!

The 2024's rolled through their final President's Cup weekend looking the strongest they have this fall season.

Finishing 3-1 on the weekend, it was awesome to see this team compete and have fun with one another in front of the sidelines of college coaches throughout the weekend.

Stickwork of the Week

Like we always say… Ask ANY great player how they got to where they are, and we can almost guarantee they will tell you to hit the wall. In order to have confidence in games, you need to put in the work when nobody is watching!

This week’s stickwork:

  1. Pass, split dodge, pass (x50 each side)

  2. Quick stick switching hands without ball. For example: Throw right, switch while the ball is hitting the wall, catch left. Speed it up to challenge yourself. (x100)

  3. One hand, cradle in between (x50 each side)

  4. One hand quickstick (x50 each side)

Recruiting tip of the Week

It is you vs. you.

You’ll see girls from other clubs (and your own) committing to colleges, getting offers, and going on visits. It’s easy to get caught up in the noise, but you need to remember that you’re on your own journey.

You can only worry about what you can control. Any time or energy you spend thinking about where other girls are in their journey is time and energy you could put toward yours.

Get a little bit better every day and block out the noise. Your future self will thank you!

Quote of the Week

“Do what needs to be done, when it needs to be done the best way it can be done, and do it that way every time.”

– Bob Knight

Have a great week!
