Coast LC Spotlight

Tryouts are done and high school season is entering full gear! Thank you to everyone who came out to tryouts and best of luck this year in school seasons!

SEND US PLAYER SHOUT-OUTS! If you know a Coast kid who had a great game, send us info and photo (if you can) either through email or DM us. This goes for all ages, youth/HS or even alumni.

NCAA Game of the Week

Additionally, we are so pumped to tell you all about another upcoming NCAA game this weekend. Duke is playing UVA on ESPNU (national television) at 11:00 AM PST on Saturday.

We highly recommend you check out this matchup of two ranked opponents!

Stickwork of the Week

This week’s wall ball is simple. 50 reps on each hand of the following exercises:

  1. Quick stick

  2. One-handed quick stick

  3. Quick stick, change hands

  4. Catch and cradle

  5. One-handed catch and cradle

  6. Split dodge and throw

Remember to keep your feet moving, and don’t be discouraged by a drop! Keep moving forward.

Recruiting tip of the Week

Start promoting yourself to college coaches early on.

This can involve creating a highlight video that showcases your skills, creating a personal website or social media presence that highlights your achievements and goals, and reaching out to college coaches to express your interest in their program.
